What ClinLog is
ClinLog is an iPhone and Apple Watch app for counseling practicum and internship students to track their supervised hours toward licensure: log sessions, watch your progress against your goals, and export a signed PDF report for your supervisor.
Before you write, a few quick answers
- Where is my data? In your own iCloud account, synced across your devices. There is no ClinLog server and no account to reset. If your hours aren’t syncing, check that you’re signed into the same Apple Account on both devices and that iCloud is on for ClinLog (Settings → your name → iCloud).
- Can you recover my data? No, by design. Your data lives only in your iCloud, so I have no copy to restore. Your best protections are iCloud sync itself and the PDF/CSV exports in Settings.
- Subscription and trial. ClinLog starts with a 28-day full-access trial, no payment up front. Afterward, a subscription keeps logging unlocked. Your existing data, history, and every export stay available forever either way. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple through your App Store account.
- Restore a purchase. In the app: Settings → ClinLog Plus → Restore Purchases, signed into the Apple Account that subscribed.
- My state isn’t listed in Resources. States are added one at a time, verified against the official licensing board. Email a state request and it goes on the queue: request your state.
Bugs and feature requests
Both are welcome at support@clinlog.io. For bugs, the fastest fix comes from three things: what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot helps, and your iPhone’s iOS version helps more.
One caution: never include client names or any client-identifying details in a support email or screenshot. ClinLog is designed to hold no client information, and support mail should hold none either.
